Initial assessments are provided to parents within 30 days of enrollment or at the beginning of the school year. Parents are then provided quarterly assessments (behavior and academic) along with an opportunity to have a conference with their child’s teacher.
Results of the assessments are used to provide information to parents, teachers and administration. These results help us all understand how we may collaboratively and more effectively address learning opportunities. We consider the initial assessment results as baseline information to help us understand how we may continue to help students progress and more effectively differentiate in the classroom.
GPA evaluates students via the following
- Daily assignments / homework / projects
- Classroom participation
- Quarterly assessments (Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer)
- Bi-annual examinations (December & May)
- Annual Standardized Testing
