Tuition Policy


Tuition is typically assessed on a school year basis.  To assist our parents in budgeting, we have divided the required tuition into weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual or annual payment amounts.  You may choose any payment option that suits your needs.  The amount due for tuition each year is therefore a fixed tuition rate for each child.  If you pay weekly, we divide that figure into more amicable weekly amounts.  If bi-weekly or monthly, the same idea is used to break up the annual tuition and ease the burden of larger payments.  Whatever payment alternative is chosen, parents will make consistent payment amounts each payment period so that their total payments add up to the schools’ tuition by years’ end.  Please note that parents who participate in the monthly, quarterly, bi-annual or annual payment plan receive a discount from our normal annual tuition rate.  The summer enrichment session (June & July) rates will remain the same as throughout the regular school year.

Payment Due

Tuition payment is due before services are rendered.  Therefore, tuition is due before (or on) the first day of the week, month or year for which those services are provided.  If tuition is not paid by the due date, a late fee of $10.00 will be added to the tuition for each day that it is late.  There will be a 2-day grace period for the occasions payment on time is difficult, but we encourage all parents to please make timely payments.  All monies past due must be satisfied before the next week’s/month's tuition is due in order for your child to remain in school. Parents who consistently make late payments (2 or more during the year) are required to participate in the Automatic Payment Program.

Absences / Holidays

To determine tuition rates, we average our operating expenses over the calendar year, considering closings and holidays.  Therefore, tuition is due regardless of absence, holiday, school closing, or snow day.  Your tuition will be calculated upon enrollment and will remain consistent each week.

Return Check Fee

A $40.00 fee will be charged for a check returned for insufficient funds. If this occurs, Legacy of Purpose Preparatory Academy will have the option to refuse any future checks.

If tuition is not paid on the day it is due and/or GPA gets a return check for insufficient funds, you will be required to participate in GPA's automatic payment program. 

Late Pick up Fee

It is important that children be picked up at their scheduled time. There is a $1.00 per minute/per child late pickup fee. If you are late this fee is to be paid upon arrival at the school.

Pick up Times
Toddler / Preschool / Pre-K / K - 1st grade:  3:30pm (pick up before 3:40pm). If pick up is after 3:40pm, late fees will apply.
Afterschool Program: 6:30pm.  If you pick your child after 6:30pm, late fees will apply. 

Automatic Payment Program
Parents may elect to participate in GPA's Automatic Payment Program via PayPal, debit/credit card or personal bank account. If you would like to participate in this program, please complete the attached automatic payment form.

Please note: Parents who consistently make late payments (2 or more) are required to participate in the Automatic Payment Program.
